CASE holds Arty Feb

In line with the promotion of holistic development among the students in support to the mission and vision of the institution, the College of Arts, Sciences and Education sponsored the Arty Feb  celebration on February 28, 2014 at the PLTCI gymnasium. This activity aimed to bring out the talents of the students through academic and artistic skills competitions.

The event was supported by the Academic Deans, Heads of offices, faculty and staff; and was actively participated in by the students. The following challenging activities were among the contested events: Math and Science Quiiz Bee—facilitated by Joel Doladol, Lorna Roldan and Sherilyn Madamba; Edison Oreiro and Julie Palana spearheaded the Spelling Bee; the Singing Contest/Pop Dance was headed by Fernando B. Pili Jr.; Trash Art was facilitated by Mark Salvia, Armi Mateo and Jan Patricio; Malikhaing Pagtula was led by Johnny Buhay; and Giving Instructions with Demonstration was headed by Nely Valeros and Albert Garcia.

To grace the program, the Kadiyaw Dance Troupe led the Doxology and the singing of national anthem. Dr. Lenilyn A. Salunat, CASE Dean gave her opening remarks while Dr. Mercelita V. Orden, Vice President for Academic Affairs delivered an inspiring message.
