The awarding ceremony came as a surprise after the Eucharistic Celebration when Direc-tor Evelyn L. Pascua, Ph. D., CESO III called on stage the top performing schools in terms of accreditation, autonomous and deregulated status, COEs/ “PLTC’s continuous growth implies the presence of unity and cooperation among the faculty, staff, and students, coupled with the strong support of the administration in all its academic endeavors. ”CODs, and exemplary performance in board examinations. PLTC received two (2) awards. The first was the Award of Excellence for the Level I accreditation of the Criminology and Hotel & Restaurant Management programs by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), an accrediting body under the Federation of Accrediting Agencies in the Philippines (FAAP). The second award was given for the exemplary performance (100% passing) of the Radiologic Technology Department in the December 2010 Board Examination. The PLTC team who were present during the awarding cer-emony was composed of Dr. Mercelita V. Orden, Vice Presi-dent for Academic Affairs, Dr. Bonifacio Ramos, Director for Research & Development, Mrs. Femilyn Baal, Registrar, Ms. Ma. Ana Aquino, Chief Librarian, Mr. Pedro Mambear, Asst. to the CCEOP Director, and Mr. Roldan Subia, Information and Student Satisfaction Desk Officer. The team was very much elated and felt proud that PLTC, a relatively young school of higher learning made a name and stood out over the other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the region. Moreover, it can be re-called that during the 22nd Commencement Exercises on March 24, 2013 at the NVSU Gymnasium, the following were 
recognized because of their significant achievements: (1) Graduate of Midwifery Program for being the ONLY school in the whole country which was recognized as “Top Performing School in the Philippines”;(2) Ms. Guinevere B. Las-ang, RN for making it to Top 8 (National Level) in the 2012 Nurse 
Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC); (3) PLTC ROTC Unit as Champion in the Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI); and (4) Office Administration Department for being declared Overall Champion in the 12th Annual Regional PASOA (Philippine[r1]  Association of Students in Office Administration). 
             All these and many more truly reflect the commitment and dedication of PLTC in at-taining quality and excellence. This goes to show that the mechanism, procedures, and processes are now in place to ensure that the desired quality of education is delivered. PLTC’s continuous growth implies the presence of unity and cooperation among the faculty, staff, and students, coupled with the strong support of the administration in all its academic endeavors. Now, we can say that PLT College, Inc. is soaring like an eagle, ready to respond to the new developments in the Philippine educational system all aimed to make our graduates productive and competitive. Together, we continue to soar to greater heights in realizing our common aspirations for we know that as quality HEI, we have better chance of survival in this increasingly competitive world.#
