6 PLTCI PERSONNEL RECOGNIZED AS PACUCOA ACCREDITORS

Six PLTCI personnel were recognized as PACUCOA Accreditors after the two-day PACUCOA seminar –workshop for accreditors last August 18-19, 2016, at Diamond Hotel Philippines, Roxas, Boulevard, Manila and Emilio Aguinaldo College in 918, Gonzales Street, Ermita, Manila. The new accreditors from PLTCI are:
DR. EMILY P. GARCIA – Dean – College of Criminal Justice Education
MRS. CYNTHIA RUTH D. TAKINAN- Director, Allied Health Courses
MRS. JOSSA ROWENA F. RAMOS–Director, Center Community Extension & Outreach Program
MRS. MARIA ANA L. AQUINO – Chief Librarian
MRS. EDITHA G. MARTIN – Dean, College of Business Education
MS. JOHANNES M. BELENO – Dean, College of Hospitality & Tourism Management
The two-day training involved two components – theoretical component where theories, principles and important concepts of accreditation, standards, criteria and self-survey instruments and outcomes-based accreditation, scoring and weighting system for all programs, pointers and verification techniques, report writing and ethical standards were covered; the practical component was the actual accreditation proceedings at Emilio Aguinaldo College where trainees were subjected to hands-on accreditation experience just after the practicum orientation.
After the presentation of Sample Accreditation Visit Reports by the Rapporteurs , critiquing and evaluation by the PACUCOA Commissioners , there was summing- up of Practicum Experience by the PACUCOA Auditor, Dr. Flordeliza Castro, thereafter, pinning and oath taking of new accreditors followed.
