VISSION                         
To prepare students of Radiologic Technology for employment as radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologist, or radiation therapy technologist in hospitals, medical offices, cancer centers, community health agencies or industrial concerns where radiation is used for quality control.
 
MISSION
To provide the country with dynamic, components, socially conscious and ethical Radiologic Technologist concerned with the application of the state of the art scientific technique in medical imaging and therapy.

OBJECTIVES

Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology

Upon completion of the four-year BS Radiologic Technology program, the PLTCI graduate should be able to:

1. apply scientific knowledge, technical skills and the proper work attitude and values necessary for the practice of radiologic technology;

2. implement proficiently radiation safety and protection measures;

3. demonstrate patient-focused care in providing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging;

4. communicate effectively in speaking, writing, and presenting using culturally-appropriate language;

5. show beginning leadership, management and entrepreneurial skills in the delivery of client care in general and radiologic services in particular;

6. conduct academic and industrial researches for the advancement of knowledge and practice of the radiologic technology profession;

7. pursue life-long education with a passion to keep current with national and global developments in health care in general, and radiologic technology in particular; and

8. demonstrate social responsibility and pride in being a Filipino and a God-centered radiologic technologist.

 

 


ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 100% PASSING RATE NOVEMBER 2010 BOARD EXAMINATION FOR RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST
  • 57.10 % PASSING RATE JUNE 2012 BOARD EXAMINATION FOR RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST OVER THE NATIONAL PASSING RATE 47.10 %
