HomeLiteraryOne Simple Little Pencil

by Filomeno O. Querol Jr.

Im just one little pencil,
not even expensive, in fact
I’m cheap, but don’t you know…
When I am sharpened I can write
And my marks will be on sight
Even though mistakes arrive
I have my eraser to make it right
I am sharpened by hurts and pain
But I take it all for me to gain
To be a sharper one, again
To make more and better writings then
And please remember I have my end
But I will leave my marks written
For me to be remembered now and then
And appreciate the good things I have sent
How I wish we’ll be alike
For my good deeds be brought to life
And all this things will be applied
So all of them will follow your side.
