Dharlene Angel Casiles Sonio, HUMSS 12 – PLT College, Inc., Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya won third place in the Philippine Information Agency’s Online Article Writing Contest held last month.
Alejandro A. Quimson of Cavite Science Integrated School won top place, Dana Akira D. Alipio of Camalaniugan National High School landed on second place, and Angela Mae Torrecampo of Itawes National High School grabbed PIA Special Award.
The topic of this year’s contest was to discuss the fundamental Filipino culture working together as a community to achieve a common goal, and about the good things that happened despite today’s chaos.
The competition was organized by the Philippine Information Agency under the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), and the participants’ contest pieces were written in Filipino language, original, unpublished, and not translated from another language.
